Jakarta– PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) and its subsidiary, PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam (PHM), successfully retained their SNI ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) certification in 2024. This accomplishment underscores the companies' unwavering commitment to implementing anti-bribery management systems across their business and operational activities. The certification serves as an international standard for ABMS and provides a benchmark for institutions, companies, and organizations across various sectors and scales to uphold anti-bribery policies and controls.
PHI President Director Sunaryanto emphasized PHI, PHM, and other subsidiaries and affiliates under PHI in Regional 3 Kalimantan are fully committed to adhering to ABMS principles, known as the "4 NO's": No Bribery: Rejecting all forms of bribery and extortion; No Kickbacks: Avoiding and rejecting commissions, monetary gratitude, or similar requests; No Gifts: Declining gifts or gratuities that contravene applicable regulations; and No luxurious hospitality: Avoid excessive or inappropriate hospitality practices.
Commenting on this achievement, Sunaryanto, also known as Anto, expressed optimism about the impact on stakeholder trust. "The company has successfully implemented anti-corruption programs that align with internationally recognized standards. This reinforces our efforts to realize our vision of becoming a world-class oil and gas company," he said.
PHI and PHM's dedication to ABMS is further demonstrated by establishing the Anti-Bribery Compliance Function/Fungsi Kepatuhan Anti Penyuapan (FKAP). This team, led by PHI's Senior Manager Relations, Handri Ramdhani, who also serves as PHI's ABMS Top Management, works closely with Zona 8 General Manager, Setyo Sapto Edi, who acts as PHM's ABMS Top Management.
The companies also actively implement additional ABMS initiatives, including The Gratification Prevention Program, Mandatory submission of State Official Wealth Reports (LHKPN), Operation of a Whistleblowing System (WBS), and Compliance monitoring through the Compliance Online System.
