Bunyu – PT Pertamina EP (PEP) Bunyu Field conducted a sudden drug inspection for personnel and business partners within the Company’s operational area as part of its commitment to creating a safe, healthy, disciplined, and drug-free workplace. The activity was carried out on May 20, 2026, at the HSSE Polyclinic of PEP Bunyu Field as part of the implementation of the Company’s Drug-Free Workplace policy.

The activity was conducted in collaboration among the Bunyu Field HSSE Medical and Security teams, as well as personnel from the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and Indonesian National Police (Polri) assigned to the PEP Bunyu Field operational area. Based on the inspection results, all personnel tested negative for narcotics use.

Senior Manager of PEP Bunyu Field, Ruri Heriandi, reaffirmed the Company’s commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of employees and business partners as a foundation for operational reliability and sustainable oil and gas production. “The sudden narcotics inspection was conducted as a preventive measure to create a healthy, safe, and drug-free working environment,” he said.

According to Ruri, in addition to the sudden inspections, the Company also conducts regular and incidental screenings for employees and business partners as part of its efforts to ensure that all personnel are fit to work and able to support reliable, safe, and sustainable operations.

“This activity reflects the Company’s commitment to maintaining and creating a workplace environment that consistently prioritizes safety and compliance with applicable regulations and laws,” he added. Ruri also expressed his appreciation to all parties involved in ensuring the full implementation of the Drug-Free Workplace policy throughout the Company without exception.

Through this activity, PEP Bunyu Field hopes to continue fostering a professional, disciplined, and integrity-driven work culture while ensuring that all personnel are in optimal health before carrying out their duties.
