Muara Jawa– PT Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga (PHSS) and the Kalimantan and Sulawesi Representative Office of SKK Migas (SKK Migas Kalsul) have officially handed over a Mitsubishi FE SHDX chassis and arm roll container truck to the Muara Jawa Subdistrict Government and the Integrated Waste Management Facility/Tempat Pengelolaan Sampah Terpadu (TPST) 3R Gerakan Muara Jawa Bersih (GMJB).

A representative of SKK Migas Kalsul conducted the symbolic handover to the Chairperson of TPST 3R GMJB and the Subdistrict Head of Muara Jawa at the Astabrata Meeting Hall, Muara Jawa Subdistrict, on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. 39 representatives from the subdistrict government, village officials, security personnel, and local companies attended the event.

Representing SKK Migas Kalsul—KKKS, Ahmad Busri expressed his gratitude for the initiative's successful implementation. "This truck procurement is the result of coordination among all stakeholders, and we are pleased to officially hand it over to the Muara Jawa government. The provision of this chassis and container lift truck is part of the upstream oil and gas industry's commitment to environmental conservation and community empowerment around our operational areas," he said.

Ahmad Taufik, chairperson of TPST 3R GMJB, expressed appreciation for the support provided by SKK Migas Kalsul and KKKS. "This arm roll truck support will be extremely beneficial for waste management activities in Muara Jawa. With this truck, GMJB can expand its waste management coverage from just four urban villages to all eight in Muara Jawa Subdistrict," said Taufik.

Meanwhile, Muara Jawa Subdistrict Head Muhammad Ramli shared his appreciation for SKK Migas Kalsul and KKKS's proactive approach and commitment to environmental and community welfare. "For years, upstream oil and gas companies have been strategic partners in community empowerment efforts, delivering significant benefits to the residents of Muara Jawa," he said.

He also emphasized that KKKS serves as a role model for other companies that actively contribute to community development in Muara Jawa.

PHSS Field Manager Widhiarto Imam Subarkah stated that the provision of the chassis and arm roll truck, supported by the company alongside SKK Migas Kalsul and other KKKS partners, reflects PHSS's commitment to conducting safe, reliable, compliant, and environmentally responsible upstream oil and gas operations. "At PHSS, we believe that proper waste management contributes to improving environmental quality and ensures a greener future," he explained.

In addition, Imam highlighted PHSS's approach to implementing social and environmental innovation through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs. Imam hoped the truck's increased capacity to reach more areas would help promote sustainable waste management and environmental conservation.
