Preparing for the Retirement Period of Partner Employees, Pertamina EP Tanjung Field Holds Biofloc System Fish Farming Training

Preparing for the Retirement Period of Partner Employees, Pertamina EP Tanjung Field Holds Biofloc System Fish Farming Training

Tabalong - Pertamina EP (PEP) Tanjung Field held fish farming training with a biofloc system for partner employees as part of the retirement preparation program. The activity, attended by 30 partners from various functions, was held at the Mutiara Patra Building, Belimbing Village, Saturday (04/03/23).

Fish farming with a biofloc system is a cultivation technique through environmental engineering, relying on oxygen supply from water machines and microorganisms. Fish farming training was chosen because the market opportunity of Tabalong Regency is still wide open.

In this training, the Company collaborated with trainers from De Papuyu Farm Banjarbaru. The training began with the provision of theory followed by a visit to the biofloc pond to learn the practice of fish farming.

Athur Satoto Bakar representing Tanjung Field management said that this activity is a form of corporate social responsibility, especially for partners to support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

"After attending the training, partners are expected to gain knowledge and skills to be practiced in everyday life. Moreover, the local government is intensifying the campaign to eat fish and its derivative products," explained Athur.

Arthur also explained that entrepreneurship could be an option to take advantage of retirement with activities that have economic value, and this can be prepared in advance. "This training is a form of PEP Tanjung Field's support to partners in preparing for retirement," he concluded

Said Pintarta, one of Tanjung Field's partners who participated in the training, expressed his appreciation to the Company. Ujar hopes that the knowledge and skills gained can be applied in starting a business to prepare for retirement.
