KUTAI KARTANEGARA - PT Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga (PHSS), which is part of Pertamina's Zone 9 Subholding Upstream Regional 3 Kalimantan, delivered food aid for communities affected by Covid-19 in the vicinity of Mutiara Field’s operation area. It was   carried out by Mutiara Field’s Section Head, Yudi Irawan, in Muara Jawa Sub-District (20/09) and Samboja Sub-District (21/09).  

Head of Muara Jawa Sub-district, Safruddin, and Samboja Sub-District Secretary, Damsik, each received 50 packages of food aid which contained: rice, sugar, tea, coffee, cooking oil, sardines, instant noodles, milk, and herbal drink produced by MSMEs that PHSS supported. The food aid   was intended to help the community in meeting their daily needs, as well as to promote local product consumption and empower the MSMEs. 

Safruddin and Damsik expressed their appreciation for the concern PHSS showed, which certainly eased the burden of people in Muara Jawa and Samboja Sub-Districts. Yudi Irawan stressed that PHSS will continue to support, and synergize in, the efforts to alleviate Covid-19 and other disasters. Yudi also appealed to all parties to continue implementing strict health protocol.
