PHSS Holds Journalism Training, Blood Donations, and Tree Planting for Young Generation of Muara Badak

Muara Badak – PT Pertamina Hulu Sangasanga (PHSS) held journalism training, blood donation, and tree planting activities in order to encourage youth activities in the social and environmental fields. in this activity, PT Pertamina Hulu Sangasanga (PHSS) collaborated with the Football School (SSB) Association Calcio Nilam (SSB ACN).


Association Calcio Nilam (SSB ACN), a soccer school built by PHSS, has succeeded in making achievements and become a facilitator in various activities. The first activity was journalism training which was attended by Middle and High School students of Muara Badak on Sunday (05/06). The coaches who brought in are Muhammad Riko Prayamudi & Gatot Cahyono from CV Proaksa Samarinda. The training aims to improve the writing skills of younger generation so as to boost publicity for youth activities in Muara Badak District.


On the following day (06/06) a blood donor activity was held in collaboration with PMI Samarinda and attended by 65 donors. This activity was attended by the PHSS Management, the Head of the Muara Badak Health Center, and the Muara Badak District Government.


The secretary of the Muara Badak sub-district, Nurhaeda, said that PHSS has succeeded in helping to grow the high-achiever built group. “SSB ACN Muara Badak has proven to be able to deliver fostered children to the EPA League 1 selection event in Jakarta," she said.


The event continued with the planting of 50 mahogany and trembesi tree seedlings around the Muara Badak soccer field. Previously, PHSS and SSB ACN also planted 75 bayur, mahogany, pulai and ironwood trees in the former well area 270 PHSS.


Meanwhile, PHSS Field Manager, Widhiarto Imam Subarkah said that PHSS succeeded in obtaining the Green PROPER award from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) for the company's good performance in environmental management and community development.


 “We keep committed to running oil and gas operations that are able to provide value for all stakeholders, especially the government and the communities where we operate. The youth training programs like this and other community development programs are a manifestation of this commitment," concluded Widhiarto.
