Pertamina Hulu Indonesia Sweeps 12 Awards in Public Relations Indonesia Awards (PRIA) 2022

Jakarta – PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI), a Subholding Upstream 3 Regional Kalimantan, brought home a dozen of awards in the Public Relations Indonesia Awards (PRIA) 2022, held on March 25, 2022 in Semarang. Organized by PR INDONESIA, PRIA assesses and recognizes best achievements in communications and public relations activities of corporations, ministries/public institutions, and local governments from all Indonesia. In PRIA 2022, PHI-Regional 3 Kalimantan won 2 Gold, 4 Silver, and 6 Bronze awards in various categories.

According to PR Indonesia Founder and CEO Wikan Asmono, this year, there were a total of 782 entries spread between 10 sub-categories of Owned Media, Digital Channel, PR Program, CSR Program, Crisis Management, PR Governance Manual, PR Department, Annual Report, Brand Visual Identity, and Most Popular in Print Media.

Senior Manager Relations PHI, Farah Dewi, and Manager Communication Relation & CID PHI, Dony Indrawan, as well as several other PHI representatives, were present in the event to receive the awards. Farah Dewi expressed her gratitude and appreciation to Relations officers, the management, and employees of PHI-Regional 3 Kalimantan for their support.

“Our corporate communications products, such as Energia Kalimantan Tabloid, both print and digital, and PHI video profile received bronze awards in PRIA 2022. PHSS’ Annual Report also received bronze category, while Sustainability Reports of PHM and PEP Sanga Sanga Field received silver and bronze categories, respectively. The Sustainability Business of PEP Bunyu Field also received bronze category,” said Farah.

Farah added that CSR programs that in 2021 earned the company Gold PROPER from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry also won in PRIA 2022. “The Advanced Farmers 4.0 CSR and Mahakam Winners programs from PHM were Gold winners in the Community-Based Development category. Meanwhile, PHM’s Renewable Solar Energy program and CSR programs in Sangatta Field and Tarakan Field became Silver Winners,” she said.

Farah elaborated that through The Communications Relations & CID (CRC) Team of PHI-Regional 3 Kalimantan, PHI’s internal communications strategy is to share information using its intranet channel and Energia Kalimantan tabloid, both print and digital versions that are easily accessible by PHI employees anywhere. In terms of external communications strategy, PHI manages platforms such as corporate website and social media accounts.

“The company is proactive in disseminating information and publications using print, online, and digital means both regionally in Kalimantan and nationally, sharing information about corporate performance, achievements, innovations, and awards as well as PHI’s corporate social responsibility programs. These communications efforts aim to raise support from our stakeholders that the Company need in order to execute safe, reliable, and superior operations. The awards that the Company received in PRIA are certainly proof of excellence of our communications and PR team,” she concluded.
