Jakarta - PT Pertamina EP (PEP) Bunyu Field signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) (Pelindo) on Ship Guidance and Delay Services at the Conventional Buoy Mooring (CBM) Bunyu Terminal in the waters of Bunyu Island, North Kalimantan.

The signing of the MOU carried out in Jakarta (06/07/22) that attended by the Manager of Sea and Maritime Airports of SKK Migas, Representative of Kalimantan Sulawesi Putu Indra Mahatrisna, GM Pelindo Tarakan Darwis, and Bunyu Field Manager Andry Sehang.

Andry Sehang stated that the MOU is a form of PEP Bunyu Field's commitment to increasing synergy between state-owned companies and implementing a borderless strategy carried out by the Pertamina Regional 3 Kalimantan Upstream Subholding to continue to generate significant value for all stakeholders from oil and gas operations carried out by the Company," said Andry.

Furthermore, Andry added that the cooperation in the operation of ship guidance and delay services at the Bunyu CBM TUX is an inseparable terminal operational activity and is very important in pep Bunyu Field petroleum lifting activities. According to him, this collaboration is one of the Company's steps to support the sustainability of the Company's operations to support the government's target of achieving one barrel of oil per day by 2030.

This MOU is expected to comply with applicable laws and regulations and the level of shipping safety and safety of oil and gas facilities in the Pep Bunyu Field work area will be better and increase," explained Andry.

GM Pelindo Tarakan, Darwis, revealed that this cooperation agreement is a journey that will be carried out together in achieving the main goal, namely sailing and shipping safety for ships entering the Bunyu TUX.
