Kutai Kartanegara - The Management of Pertamina EP Sangasanga Field (PEP Sangasanga) made a courtesy call to the Commander of 091/Aji Surya Natakesuma Military Area Command at 091/ASN military base in Samarinda, East Kalimantan. The meeting discussed an agreement concerning security for PEP Sangasanga Field's operations and assets.

In the meeting, Monday (28/9), PEP Sangasanga Field Senior Manager, Gondo Irawan, along with Adhitya Ryan Saputra (HSSE Department) and Charlie Steven Parengkuan (SCM Department), had a discussion with the Commander of 091/ASN Military Area Command (Korem 091/ASN), Brigadier General TNI Cahyo Suryo Putro, S.IP., M.Si, who was accompanied by the Territorial Section Chief Colonel Bram Pramudya, concerning the agreement on securing PEP operational activities and assets. PEP Sangasanga Field is part of Zone 9, Subholding Upstream Pertamina Regional 3 Kalimantan.

Gondo Irawan expressed the company’s gratitude for Korem 091/ASN’s security support in PEP Sangasanga’s operations, which is a national vital object. Brigadier General Cahyo Suryo Putro stated that Korem 091/ASN would keep helping the security of PEP Sangasanga Field’s operations. "We will always try to spot potential problems and be proactive in anticipating and solving them," he said.

Pertamina EP Sangasanga Field operates in an area of 128 km²  divided into three fields, Sangasanga, Anggana, and Samboja. Data from Integrated Operational System of Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas (SOT SKK Migas) dated 30 September 2021 year-to-date showed that PEP Sangasanga produced 5,018.174 BOPD of crude oil. Meanwhile, gas production was around 3.3499 MMSCFD.
