Tarakan - PT Pertamina EP (PEP) Bunyu Field received an award from the Republic of Indonesia's National Family Planning Coordinating Board (BKKBN) for the success of the Community Development Program (PPM) or the Company's CSR program in supporting the Acceleration of Stunting Reduction program in North Kalimantan Province. The award was handed over directly by the Secretary Head of BKKBN RI, Drs. Tavip Agus Rayyanto, M.Sc. on June 22, 2023.

PEP Bunyu Field's CSR program, namely Community Development Program Synergy (PPM) in Accelerating the Acceleration of Stunting Reduction – Bunga Kemuning (Bunyu Sumber Pangan Kreasi Menu Entantas Stunting), is considered to make a significant contribution to the community in the Company's operational areas.

Acting Sr. Bunyu Field Manager Saifudin Zuhri explained that the BUNGA KEMUNING CSR program supports the handling of stunting with specific interventions and sensitive interventions. "Specific interventions in the treatment of stunting are related to improving the program's target nutrition and health," said Saifudin Zuhri.

Furthermore, Saifudin added that specific interventions in the handling of stunting were carried out through the Stunting Protected Family (KETINTING) program and supported by other CSR programs, namely the Broiler Farm Profit Bag (Kentungan Pak Abo) and the Hydroponic Green Village Program.
Meanwhile, Sensitive Intervention, added Saifudin, is a supporting intervention in handling stunting cases. This sensitive intervention in this scheme is realized through implementing the Community Assistance Movement for Complete Sanitation (GENTONG MAS SANTUN) CSR program with improved sanitation.

"The four programs synergize with each other in realizing the goal of accelerating the reduction in stunting rates, especially on Bunyu Island as the operational area of ​​PT Pertamina EP Bunyu Field," explained Saifudin.

On the occasion of giving this award, the Indonesian BKKBN staff made a working visit to the PT Pertamina EP Bunyu CSR Location in the Implementation of the Acceleration of Stunting Reduction on June 24, 2023.
