Muara Badak – PT Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga (PHSS) successfully held the PHSS 2025 Fun Walk on 9 November 2025, which was attended by more than 5,100 residents of Muara Badak District, Kutai Kartanegara. The event, themed "Bersatu Melangkah Menguatkan Energi", was also attended by the Muara Badak District Leadership Forum (Forkopimcam), village heads across Muara Badak District, the Head of the Muara Badak Community Health Center, and various local community organizations.

The PHSS 2025 Fun Walk covered a four-kilometer route. As part of the National Health Day series of events, the activity became even livelier with entertainment and a door prize giveaway at the end of the program.

PHSS Field Manager Iva Kurnia Mahardi expressed her appreciation for the strong community participation in the Fun Walk 2025. "The high level of public participation reflects a strong sense of togetherness and the close relationship between the Company and stakeholders in this area. Through this event, we aim to maintain and strengthen the harmonious relationship between the Company, the local government, and the community," said Iva.

In addition to raising awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle through health messages, PHSS also used the event to share information about the upstream oil and gas industry's important role and contribution to the country and the community. "The continuity of PHSS oil and gas production is vital in supporting national energy security in line with the government's Asta Cita related to energy self-sufficiency. Therefore, we invite all parties to work together to safeguard the security and smooth operations of the Company's upstream oil and gas activities as a National Vital Object/Objek Vital Nasional (Obvitnas)," Iva said.

Echoing this, Muara Badak Sub-District Head, Arfan, expressed his appreciation for the orderly and lively execution of the event. "This Fun Walk is not just a casual walk but a real manifestation of our shared commitment to health, togetherness, and synergy among stakeholders. The remarkable enthusiasm for this positive initiative by PHSS, and the message about the importance of a healthy lifestyle, were delivered effectively," he said.

Besides promoting healthy living and community synergy, the PHSS 2025 Fun Walk also had a positive impact by increasing local economic activity, supported by the active participation of MSMEs during the event.
