Bontang – CSR program partners PT Pertamina EP (PEP) Sangatta Field and PT Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga (PHSS) took part in a competition and exhibition for innovators at the IX Appropriate Technology Title (TTG) at the East Kalimantan (Kaltim) Province level held in Bontang (9 -13/05/2023).
At the event, which was also attended by various MSMEs from Regencies and Cities in East Kalimantan, the Kelulut Gardens Trigona Reborn Group, PEP Sangatta Field's fostered partners displayed the Bee-sap, a honey harvesting tool with an innovative height sensor feature and an automatic filter feature. Meanwhile, the Balanipa Joint Business Group (KUBE), assisted by PHSS, presented an innovation in using used boat ropes recycled into FAD ropes.
Head of Communication Relations & CID Zone 9 in charge of PEP Sangatta and PHSS, Elis Fauziyah, said that the two of the company's fostered partners showcased the innovations they created.
"In the Bee-sap innovation, the altitude sensor bThe function automatically cuts off the electric current when the honey bottle is full. Meanwhile, the filter feature functions to filter out honey impurities that enter the bottle so that the honey becomes more hygienic and saves harvesting time," explained Elis.
Besides Bee-sap, Elis explained that Trigona Reborn also displayed Kelulut Garden products such as Kelulut honey, Kelulut ginger cookies, Kelulut ginger chips, Kelulut honey tea, and Kelulut honey candy.
At this event, Elis explained that KUBE Balanipa created the tool for spinning used ship ropes named Barotech, Balanipa Rope Technology. “Barotech was designed by Sahabudin, Local Hero KUBE Balanipa. Balanipa also invites PHSS CSR fostered partners who are members of the PHSS Business Champion, including Amplang Saliki and Handel Competitive MSMEs," he added.
TTG IX Kaltim was a competition and exhibition event for innovators in four categories; Technology Service Post (Posyantek), Technology Service Post (Postaktekdes), Superior Appropriate Technology, and Appropriate Technology Innovation.
According to Elis, the company is committed to implementing innovative and sustainable CSR programs to support achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs).
