Tarakan – PT Pertamina EP Tarakan Field (PEP Tarakan Field) carried out vaccination for Tarakan Field workers at Ilyas Naval Hospital (RSAL Ilyas) and at District Military Command (Kodim) 0907 clinic, on Wednesday (21/07). It was carried out to support the government’s program of developing herd immunity. Tarakan Regional Government has set a target of full vaccination for its 160 thousand residents.
This vaccination program was held in cooperation with the Indonesian Army’s Naval Base (TNI Lantamal) XIII and Kodim 0907 Tarakan. PEP Tarakan Field handed out donations of masks, tents, and food to Lantamal XIII and Kodim 0907 for the success of the vaccination program.
Tarakan Field Manager Isrianto Kurniawan expressed his appreciation for the good cooperation between Pertamina and the Indonesian Army (TNI), including in this vaccination program. “ Through the vaccination of workers, which are also Tarakan people, we expect to support the government’s program of developing herd immunity, especially in Tarakan region,” said Isrianto.
On that occasion, Head of Health Office of Lantamal XIII, Navy Lieutenant Colonel (K) Moh Muktadir, SKM., M.H. appreciated the donations and aids given by PEP Tarakan Field. “ We are grateful for PEP Tarakan Field and will continue to support the company’s sustainable operation as well as its various efforts in overcoming Covid-19, including this vaccination program ”, said Muktadir.
As the operator of upstream oil and gas activities at the northern end of Indonesia, PEP Tarakan Field and all Pertamina subsidiaries under Subholding Upstream Regional Kalimantan will continue to support the government’s program in stopping COVID-19 spread and in providing energy for Indonesia.
