Frans Alexander A. Hukom, Head of Communication Relations & CID PHM, expressed that this vocational training program exemplifies the company's commitment to enhancing human resource capacity, particularly among young people in PHM's operational areas.

This collaboration marks the first joint endeavor between the upstream oil and gas industry and the Kukar Regency Government in organizing vocational training and obtaining international certifications.

The participants underwent vocational training and certification for Welder 4G SMAW. Upon completion, they will undergo a series of job interviews at several subcontractor companies of Petrotekno, an international operation and maintenance skills provider located in Batam.

In his speech, the Head of the Formalities and Communication Department of SKK Migas Kalsul, Wisnu Wardhana, expressed hope that this program could support the Kukar Ready for Work Program, enabling participants to contribute nationally and internationally.

"After graduation, participants receive certificates recognized globally as international welders. This is certainly a source of pride," said Wisnu.

He encouraged participants to maintain their enthusiasm for learning and working as an appreciation for the opportunities gained and the hard work

invested. This training provides initial preparation to compete in the job market and strive for a better future.

Acting Head of the Transmigration and Manpower Office (Distransnaker) of Kukar Regency, M. Hatta, underscored the significance of youth involvement in natural resource management and the necessity for human resource readiness to occupy positions not only at the local level but also on a national and international scale.

Distransnaker received appreciation from the Kukar Regency Government for its role in reducing the unemployment rate from 4.15% to 4.04%. "Therefore, vocational training programs like this will continue to be implemented and improved," he emphasized.
