Muara Badak- In support of achieving the national oil production target, PT Pertamina Hulu Sanga Sanga (PHSS) has achieved a remarkable milestone by exceeding its oil production target by the end of the first semester of 2025. PHSS recorded production exceeding 14,000 barrels of oil per day (BOPD). "We believe this success is the result of the synergy and collaboration between the company and all internal and external stakeholders, including local governments and the communities surrounding the company's operations," said PHSS Field Manager, Iva Kurnia Mahardi.

As a token of gratitude for this achievement and a demonstration of its concern for the community, PHSS distributed social assistance in the form of basic food packages and cash to five villages in Muara Badak District. The distribution of this aid was carried out in stages, starting on Friday (June 21, 2025) in Tanjung Limau and Muara Badak Ulu Villages, continuing on Monday (June 23, 2025) to Badak Baru and Gas Alam Villages, and on Tuesday (June 24, 2025) in Muara Badak Ilir Village.

The distribution of 100 basic food packages and cash to beneficiaries took place at each village office, accompanied by the local village government. For some beneficiaries who were unable to attend, the aid was distributed at their homes by PHSS Management, whom village government officials also accompanied.

PHSS Field Manager, Iva Kurnia Mahardi, stated that the distribution of this social assistance was a form of gratitude for the company's performance achievements and a demonstration of concern for the surrounding community. "PHSS's production achievements are the result of collaborative efforts, which are inseparable from community support. Therefore, through this activity, we want to share our happiness and express our gratitude for the continued support provided to the company by the local government and community," she said.

On this occasion, the village government expressed its appreciation for the Thanksgiving event and social assistance organized by PHSS. Gas Alam Village Head, Amir, stated that this social assistance reached residents in need who had not received other forms of assistance. "Thank you to PHSS Management. With this assistance from PHSS, some residents who previously had not received assistance, such as the Village Direct Cash Assistance (BLT Desa), are finally able to benefit from this assistance, which is even more substantial. Hopefully, this assistance from PHSS will be used properly and be a blessing for us all," said Amir.

Badak Baru Village Head, Nasaruddin, also expressed his appreciation for the assistance provided. "Thank you to PHSS Management and Ms. Elis from Zona 9 for organizing this PHSS Sharing activity. We hope it will be beneficial for the recipients. This also helps the Village Government reduce the burden on the Village Government in assisting the community, which ultimately reaches everyone. We extend our highest appreciation to PHSS," said Nasaruddin. Appreciation was also expressed by Taufik, Head of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) of Badak Baru Village, and the Head of Neighborhood Association (RT) 02 of Badak Baru Village.
