Encouraging a Transparent and Excellent Procurement Ecosystem, PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia Held a Supplier Engagement Event in Balikpapan

Balikpapan – PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) successfully held the Supplier Engagement Regional 3, also known as SINERGI KALIMANTAN, with the theme “Empowering Collaboration, Delivering Excellence.” The event brought together more than 300 participants, consisting of goods and services providers as well as planning and user functions from Zonas 8, 9, and 10, along with strategic stakeholders in the upstream oil and gas sector (07/08/2025).

The SINERGI KALIMANTAN program, initiated by the Regional 3 Supply Chain Management (SCM) Function, was designed as a forum for communication, socialization, and strengthening synergy between the Company and its business partners. To enhance understanding and collaboration with vendors, the event also aimed to provide appreciation, share updates on the latest policies, strengthen the digitalization of procurement, and encourage vendor participation in Pertamina’s digital ecosystem.

VP Business Support Regional 3, Farah Dewi, explained that the event was a tangible manifestation of the Company’s commitment to maintaining sustainable partnerships with suppliers of goods and services. “At PHI, we believe that a harmonious relationship between the Company and its partners will drive smooth operations and upstream oil and gas business, which play an important role in supporting national energy supply,” Dewi stated.

She added that the event was organized through close collaboration with SCM Functions of Zona 8, 9, and 10, jointly building constructive communication, providing coaching sessions to strengthen partner capacity, as well as giving appreciation for the tangible contributions of partners who actively supported the smooth procurement processes in Regional 3’s operational areas.

Dewi emphasized that the Company remained committed to conducting business relationships objectively, equally, and fairly in line with corporate values and compliance with prevailing regulations.

Meanwhile, VP SCM Subholding Upstream, Bongbongan Tampubolon, stressed the importance of cross-stakeholder collaboration in supporting national energy security. “The upstream oil and gas business supported by SKK Migas is a vital pillar for this nation. Therefore, synergy among all parties such as regulators, companies, and goods and services providers are the key to sustainability,” he said.

The two-day event featured both internal and external speakers, including SKK Migas, East Kalimantan Customs, PT Surveyor Indonesia, and PHI management. Topics delivered included the amendment of PTK 007, TKDN calculation, fraud awareness, corporate governance, as well as strengthening the implementation of CSMS and the digital procurement system. In addition to the socialization sessions, participants also accessed the Regional 3 Supplier Assistance Corner (KASTURI), which provided one-on-one coaching on procurement issues ranging from TKDN, CSMS, CIVD, to GEP SMART.

As a form of appreciation, the Best Vendor 2025 award was given to six top providers in various categories, including goods performance, services, TKDN verification, CSMS, and utilization of IOG e-Commerce. Another highlight was the signing of the AKHLAK Cultural Project Charter between General Managers of Zona 8, 9, and 10 and six selected partners, marking a joint commitment to internalize corporate values.

Through SINERGI KALIMANTAN, Pertamina Hulu Indonesia reaffirmed its commitment to make this forum a platform for ongoing collaboration with business partners.
