Jakarta — PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) commemorated the /Hari Kesehatan Nasional (HKN) by holding a Talk Show that discussed the importance of physical and mental health for workers in supporting productivity and strong performance. The event took place at Graha Elnusa in Jakarta on 12 November 2025, with the theme “Energize Your Health, Maximize Your Productivity.” At the venue, participants who are also Company workers could access free health check and consultation services. This year’s HKN commemoration also marked the peak of the PHISHYC 2025 Wellness Program implementation within PHI, which has been running for four months.2025 National Health Day
In his remarks, PHI President Director Sunaryanto stated that this HKN commemoration reflects the Company’s support for government programs that promote public health and healthy workplaces. He also emphasized the Company’s commitment to strengthening Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) aspects, particularly occupational health, the prevention of work-related illnesses, and improved worker fitness in the high-risk upstream oil and gas environment. “We all have a responsibility to keep our bodies fit and ready to face work challenges. Start with simple things: get enough sleep, eat well, and exercise regularly,” he said.
Sunaryanto appreciated the growing awareness among workers regarding health. He expressed hope that the promotion of healthy living practices would continue to expand and be consistently applied and practiced with discipline by all PHI workers. Similar views were shared by Sr. Manager HSSE Regional 3, Agung Darmawan, who highlighted the importance of maintaining worker fitness as a prerequisite for productivity. He added that the downward trend in healthcare service costs in 2025 indicates improved attention to health among workers. This is expected to bring long-term benefits for the Company’s performance.
Since morning, workers from various functions have actively accessed the available health services at the 2025 HKN venue. Various external healthcare partners collaborated to provide nutrition consultations, eye examinations, physiotherapy, mini health screenings, and worker fatigue assessments. These facilities reflect PHI’s efforts to provide comprehensive health services for all workers.
The Talk Show featured two professional speakers, Analisa Widyaningrum, M.Sc., M.Psi., Psychologist, and Dr. Andhika Raspati, Sp.KO. Through interactive discussions, both speakers emphasized the importance of maintaining physical and mental health as part of readiness to face daily work demands in the upstream oil and gas sector. The insights and approaches they shared gave added value for workers in applying healthy lifestyles in a sustainable manner.
Meanwhile, Manager Health Regional 3, Dr. Bambang Darmawan, presented developments in the PHISHYC 2025 Wellness Program, including improved worker discipline in undergoing routine health checks, structured exercise, and active participation in various health campaigns. On this occasion, PHI recognized individuals and entities that demonstrated a strong commitment to healthy lifestyle practices, acknowledging their contributions to strengthening the Company’s health culture.
The 2025 HKN celebration also became an important moment for PHI to reaffirm that worker health is a strategic element in maintaining productivity and reliable operations. Good physical and mental readiness directly influences worker performance in the field, operational continuity, and the achievement of the Company’s production targets.
Through a series of activities involving various functions and broad worker participation, the 2025 HKN commemoration not only provided health education but also strengthened a sense of togetherness, care, and pride within PHI.
