Tabalong – PT Pertamina EP (PEP) Tanjung Field supported the implementation of the Regent’s “Bangga ke Desa” Program or “Bunga Desa” Program by distributing nutritious food to students of SDN Kasiau Raya in Murung Pudak District, Tabalong Regency, South Kalimantan, on July 15, 2025. This activity aligns with village development priorities related to integrated early nutrition interventions to promote optimal growth and development of children.
A total of 150 portions of nutritious food were distributed to students of SDN Kasiau Raya. Symbolically, the distribution was carried out together with the Regent of Tabalong, H. Muhammad Noor Rifani, in conjunction with the ceremonial first planting of corn on the village’s food security land. The Regent of Tabalong directly led the entire series of events as part of his commitment and strategic effort to strengthen the community’s nutritional resilience in the long term. On this occasion, the Regent also provided education to the students on the importance of a healthy and balanced diet as the foundation of children’s health and intelligence.
The Field Manager of PEP Tanjung Field, Charlie Parmonangan Nainggolan, conveyed the Company’s commitment to continuously support government policies in addressing stunting, especially around the Company’s operational areas. “The nutritious food distribution program initiated by the Tabalong Regency Government aims to encourage cross-sectoral development at the village level. The collaboration with the private sector, including companies, is expected to expand the scope and strengthen the impact of the stunting prevention program,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Murung Pudak Subdistrict Head, Handi Yanuardi, expressed his appreciation for PEP Tanjung Field’s contribution. “Thank you to PEP Tanjung Field for providing assistance to support stunting prevention efforts in Kasiau Raya Village. This assistance is very beneficial for our community and environment,” he said.
Handi hopes that the nutritious food distribution program can serve as an example to raise public awareness of the importance of nutritious and healthy food for the younger generation in Murung Pudak District.
The Manager of Communication Relations & CID of PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI), Dony Indrawan, emphasized the Company’s commitment to carrying out its social and environmental responsibility, or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). “At PHI, we believe that maternal and child health is an essential element in creating a healthy society and a better future.
