Yogyakarta– PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) successfully secured two awards at the prestigious 6th Indonesian Public Relations Award (AHI) 2024, winning Bronze in the categories of Sektor Korporasi Negara Anak Usaha BUMN for Internal Media Magazine and Internal E-Magazine. The awards from the Indonesian Public Relations organization were received at a ceremony in Yogyakarta on October 11.
The Manager of Communication Relations & CID at PHI, Dony Indrawan, stated that PHI's participation in the AHI 2024 award is a demonstration of its efforts to enhance the quality of the company's internal communication products through internal print media/tabloid and the Energia Kalimantan e-magazine. With the theme of “Mendorong Regional 3 menjadi High Performing Organization”, PHI strives to implement effective communication strategies, one of which is through the Energia Kalimantan internal media program that reaches all entities under PHI Regional 3 Kalimantan,” explained Dony.
Dony added that the Energia Kalimantan tabloid was born from the company's need to convey the latest information to internal stakeholders. This tabloid is also expected to serve as a communication, creativity, and motivation platform for PHI employees. “The Energia Kalimantan tabloid is an informative, accommodative, and inspirational corporate media tool for PHI,” he added. The Energia Kalimantan tabloid has been published since 2021, and to date, PHI has released six editions.
The judging panel for AHI 2024 includes Asmono Wikan, Founder and CEO of HUMAS INDONESIA, Dian Agustine Nuriman, Founder & Principal Consultant of NAGARU Communication, Fardila Astari, Strategic Communications Expert at Reputasia, Aqsath Rasyid Naradhipa, CEO of NoLimit Indonesia, and Abdul Rahman Ma’mun, Chairman of the Central Information Commission from 2011-2013 and CEO of Magnitude Indonesia.
This year, AHI awarded 106 of the best works from institutions and corporations that successfully implemented innovative and creative practices in public information transparency. Asmono stated that the main focus of the evaluation was on the participants' efforts to uphold the principles of information transparency while presenting innovation and creativity.
The event also featured the launch of the Anugerah Karya Filosofis, a new award for philosophical works in public communication. Dian Lakshmi Pratiwi, Head of the Cultural Service of D.I. Yogyakarta, expressed hopes that public relations practitioners will continue playing an active role in enhancing public information transparency in Indonesia.
