Jakarta– PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) has once again achieved recognition at the prestigious Media Relations Awards (MRA) 2024, part of the 78th Anniversary Awards of the Indonesian Press Companies Association/Serikat Perusahaan Pers (SPS) held in Bandung on September 20th. PHI was awarded the Gold Winner title in the Press Gathering Program category for its "Bincang Asik Soal Migas Ala PHI" (BASO IGA PHI).

Dony Indrawan, Manager of Communication Relations & CID at PHI, stated that this marks PHI's second participation in the MRA 2024, reflecting recognition for improving its media relations programs. "In line with the digitalization era, PHI strives to adapt to the evolving times through creative, informative, and effective media relations programs, making it easier for stakeholders to access the latest information about the Company," he explained.

Dony added, "As a distinctive media engagement tool, the BASO IGA PHI program arose from the Company's need to communicate and build relationships with the media. To date, PHI has conducted six BASO IGA PHI events at both local and national levels."

The panel of judges for the MRA 2024 included Public Relations Consultant Maria Wongsonegoro, Public Relations Practitioner Jojo S. Nugroho, Editor-in-Chief of Sindonews.com Pung Purwanto, Vice Chairman of Kompas Daily Tri Agung Kristanto, and Asmono Wikan from the Central SPS Board.

SPS Chairman Januar P. Ruswita stated that the 78th Anniversary Awards are very special as they culminate in the Media Brand Awards, Media Relations Award, and Most Popular Communications Division Leaders. Lontar Awards and Lestari Awards were also presented to government officials and local leaders for their contributions to media and local culture. SPS is the oldest press organization, established 78 years ago, with most members being print media companies.

In addition to PHI, PT Pertamina (Persero) I received prestigious awards, including the Most Popular Corporation & Institution in Mainstream Media 2024 and the Most Popular Communications Division Leader in Mainstream Media 2024 at this 78th SPS Anniversary Awards.
