Jakarta - Entering the National Occupational Safety and Health Month or K3 Month in February 2023, PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) is holding the 2nd COVID-19 booster vaccine and a series of activities aimed at continuing to remind the importance of occupational safety and health aspects. This year's K3 month, PHI carries the theme "Realizing Generative HSSE Culture and Superior Asset Integrity Management to Support Pertamina's Business Sustainability." This theme created a healthy, safe, and productive workplace.

President Director of PHI, Chalid Said Salim, said that superior safety performance would support the company's success in achieving operational and business targets. It is on this basis, according to Chalid, that PHI always carries out the best HSSE practices in all oil and gas operations and activities to produce oil and gas of the highest quality, environmentally friendly, and sustainable.

"Safety is the main foundation in all operations and the company's oil and gas business. Everyone has an important role to play in implementing safety principles, policies, regulations and best practices. Therefore all PHI officers are invited to support and participate in various K3 month activities so that zero accidents or zero incidents can be achieved." Said Chalid.

Implementation of the 2nd booster vaccination (or 4th dose) for PHI Officers on January 26, 2022, marked the opening of the 2023 K3 Month activities at PHI. This vaccination was the first edition carried out within Pertamina, where IHC recorded 271 PHI Officers to have received this booster vaccination to protect workers' health and maintain the continuity of the company's operations.

As part of the leadership commitment, at the peak of the month of K3, there will be a signing of the 2023 HSSE commitment by PHI management and partners' leaders and a series of activities for PHI Officers to participate in February 2023.

K3 month activities include Health Talks, Joint Sports, Webinar Process Safety & Asset Integrity, Decarbonization Competition, Security Anomaly Hunting, and other exciting competitions. The OHS Month Series of Activities will close with the Signing of the 2023 HSSE Commitment and the 2023 Work Partner HSSE Partnership Program Kick-Off.
