Collaboration and Synergy with the Media, PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia Supports the Future of the National Energy Industry

Jakarta – PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) held the "Bincang Asik Soal Migas Ala PHI" (PHI's Fun Talk on Oil and Gas), abbreviated as BASO IGA PHI, with national media representatives in Jakarta on Monday, January 20, 2025. This BASO IGA event was particularly special as it coincided with the 9th anniversary of PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia, celebrated under the theme Siner9i: Nine Years of PHI Delivering Energy for Indonesia. The theme reflects PHI's commitment to fostering collaboration with various stakeholders, both internal and external, including media partners who play a strategic role in delivering accurate information to the public.

The media's presence as a key stakeholder has supported PHI's journey by disseminating corporate information to the broader community. Through this event, PHI strengthened relationships and shared updates on the company's progress and the upstream oil and gas industry's future. With the theme "Energize the Future, Together Facing the Dynamics of Energy Challenges," the event aimed to facilitate the exchange of insights, ideas, and enthusiasm among all parties in addressing future energy challenges.

In his opening remarks, PHI's Manager of Communication Relations and CID (CRC), Dony Indrawan, reaffirmed the company's commitment to fostering close coordination and collaboration with media partners. He expressed hope that, through the synergy-driven theme, the increasingly solid relationship with the media would enhance stakeholders' understanding of the energy industry's dynamics, particularly its challenges and opportunities. "What is conveyed in the BASO IGA PHI forum is expected to bridge the understanding gap about the energy industry while strengthening the synergy between the company and its stakeholders. PHI recognizes that building the company's reputation is not an instant process but a continuous journey requiring commitment and consistency over time," he added.

On this occasion, PHI's Manager of Compliance and Board Support delivered a presentation on the ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS). This international standard is designed to assist organizations of all types and sizes in establishing Anti-Bribery Management Systems. This standard is a primary reference for PHI and all its subsidiaries and affiliates, which are firmly committed to implementing anti-bribery policies and controls.

"By implementing ABMS, organizations can systematically establish, maintain, and improve anti-bribery programs to create clean and transparent governance," Andrew explained.

According to him, ABMS's primary goals include two key aspects, implementing the principles of Zero Tolerance and zero Bribery by ensuring no proven bribery cases and obtaining the ISO 37001 certification as recognition of compliance with global standards, achieved through correct and consistent implementation.

"With strong integrity and commitment to these international standards, organizations can build a solid reputation, create trust among stakeholders, and support the establishment of a clean and sustainable business environment," Andrew emphasized.

The BASO IGA PHI Upskilling Edition event was made even more special with a sharing session by Dony Indrawan, Manager of CRC at PHI, who presented an inspiring topic titled "Driving Your Success by Knowing Yourself." In the session, Dony, who is also a psychologist and motivator, explained that true success is rooted in a deep understanding of what is truly important and meaningful to individuals. He elaborated on a success formula comprising strategic steps: defining what success means, making decisive choices, being willing to pay the price for each decision, celebrating achievements, evaluating progress, and making necessary changes. This guide is relevant and inspiring and motivates participants of BASO IGA PHI to design their success in a more purposeful and meaningful way.
