Jakarta - The Christian Community Coordination Agency (Bakor Umkris) of PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) held a Worship Service and Easter Celebration 2024 at the Melania Elderly Home, Rempoa, Ciputat, South Tangerang, on April 5th. The Easter worship ceremony was overseen by Father FX Sadono Agung Widodo and centered on "Embodying His Instruments of Truth." Members and officials of Bakor Umkris PHI, along with the elderly residents of the Melania Elderly Home Chapel in Rempoa, attended the event.

During this occasion, Bakor Umkris PHI presented the results of fundraising efforts from its members. The symbolic handover was done by the Chairman of Bakor Umkris PHI, Andrew, to the representative of the Melania Elderly Home management, Dr. Nanny Susilawardani. "Thank you for the visit and assistance provided. May the Almighty God reward the kindness of Mr. and Mrs. Bakor Umkirs PHI," said Dr. Nanny.

The home residents shared their life experiences and performed songs before the event participants, which concluded with a lunch together. Bakor Umkris PHI also distributed souvenirs to the elderly residents.

Representing the entire Easter event committee and the officials of Bakor Umkris PHI, the Chairman of the Easter Event Committee, Harol Agusto Manurung, and the Chairman of Bakor Umkris, Andrew, expressed gratitude to all PHI officers who supported the event's implementation, enabling the Easter Worship Service and Celebration to proceed smoothly. "We hope that Bakor Umkris activities can be carried out again in the following year to benefit many people," said Andrew.

The Melania Elderly Home accommodates older people and provides services to ensure they feel safe and secure in their twilight years. Melania Elderly Home operates under the auspices of the Melania Jakarta Foundation, a social foundation providing services to the community. Currently, Melania Elderly Home cares for 24 elderly individuals with the support of 27 caretakers or staff members.
