Tanjung Batu (24/10/2023)– PT Pertamina Hulu East Kalimantan (PHKT) signed an agreement for shore base rental services in the southern area with the consortium of PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK) and PT Pertamina Port and Logistics (PPL). This rental suit contract will last two years and will be effective starting November 1, 2023. Based on this contract, PHKT will use Peteka Shorebase Tanjung Batu, managed by PTK, a port providing logistics facilities for oil and gas operations in the Kalimantan and Sulawesi regional areas. 

At the signing of this collaboration, Zona 10 General Manager Avep Disasmita explained that this shore base rental contract would serve PHKT's Drilling and completion activities and upstream oil and gas operations to support the achievement of the national oil and gas production target of 1 million barrels of oil per day and 12 billion standard cubic feet of gas. Per day in 2030.

"PTK & PPL will provide shore base rental services and all necessary infrastructure, as well as warehousing services along with equipment and other supporting personnel for PHKT," said Avep.

According to him, this collaboration is a form of implementation strategy in the Pertamina group expected to optimize the management of oil and gas working areas to produce significant value for all stakeholders.

In his speech, the President Director of PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental I Ketut Laba explained that it is a subsidiary of PT Pertamina International Shipping (PIS), part of Subholding Integrated Marine Logistics (IML) that experienced in shipping, maritime services, ports and logistics businesses with work areas spread throughout Indonesia and manages 104 Pertamina ports and 369 fleets ships that continue to transform and grow into integrated maritime services companies on a global scale. 

On this occasion, I Ketut appreciated PHKT for the existing cooperation. "We will provide the services needed by PHKT as well as possible by continuing to prioritize safety and quality as the main indicators in carrying out the contract," he added.

Meanwhile, Sr. SCM Regional 3 Manager Bayu Kusuma Tri Aryanto explained that the implementation of the Southern Regional Shorebase Rental Services Agreement was one of the achievements of the realization of Synergy Incorporation between PHKT and PHI, as well as internal Upstream Subholding and the Pertamina group.

"Synergy between Pertamina's subsidiaries and affiliates can encourage efficiency and increase revenue and subsidiary capabilities in the service sector. "The synergy figure achieved as a result of collaboration between subsidiaries and affiliates of the Pertamina group in upstream oil and gas operations in Regional 3 Kalimantan reached more than 147 billion," he concluded.
